A hundred years of Dong Cam

Dong Camdam was constructed by French engineers and launched in 1929, so far, it hasbeen 90 years old. If the time of surveying, designing is calculated, the workhas now been nearly 100 years. With the system of channel leading along the twobanks to fetch water from everywhere, the work has been bringing about the lushand prosperous rice paddy fields for Tuy Hoa city.

Apart from the economic benefits, DongCam dam is also the attractive destination for sightseeing, tourism. On the 8^thof January lunar calendar, the ceremony of reminding of those sacrificing forthe dam construction. During the summer days, along both banks of Dong Cam damwith white smooth sand and the gently flowing current, which has become anideal venue to gather for tourists near and far.
