215 typical Phu Yen students in study and movement have just been honored by the Provincial Youth Union and Student Association on the occasion of the Lunar New Year in 2023. The program is a very meaningful activity to encourage, motivate and promote the tradition of studiousness of Phu Yen students, continue to make efforts to study, train and acquire knowledge to meet the development requirements of society and the locality.

This year is the second one that Doan Thi Huyen Trang, a 4^th year student at the Faculty of Tourism, Nha Trang University (Khanh Hoa) was honored with the typical Phu Yen student. The female student from Hai Rieng town, Song Hinh district received a certificate of merit from the Provincial People's Committee for her outstanding achievements in the school year 2021-2022. For Trang, this is a great recognition and encouragement for her to continue striving for higher achievements.

Trang informed that, in the 2021-2022 school year, in addition to trying to achieve a learning score of 9.03/10, a training score of 99/100; her outstanding achievement is honored in the top 10 typical faces of the university in 2022; selected to participate in the SV2020 program of Vietnam Television. Mindful of students in the integration period, in addition to knowledge, they need to improve their skills and be responsible for themselves, their families, the community and the country, so Trang is constantly refining herself. She actively participated in union movements, associations and volunteer activities, organized many meaningful programs and contests for students. Trang participated in voluntary blood donation; won the first prize in the Book's Inspiration contest - Reading Inspiration person in the project: “Standing from the zero - Rising from zero” by JCI Khanh Hoa; becoming the university's Communication Ambassador in 2022. She was awarded a certificate of merit for students achieving comprehensive excellence in 2020-2021 and a certificate of merit for outstanding achievements in union work and youth movement for the term 2019 -2022… 

According to Mr Luong Minh Tung, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Student Association, the Honoring Program for typical Phu Yen students is organized annually by the Provincial Youth Union and the Student Association, in order to praise, encourage and honor the outstanding achievements and efforts in learning and training of Phu Yen students studying at universities, colleges and academies across the country, encouraging the spirit of effort in learning, bringing knowledge to build our homeland.

This year, the organizers received 615 typical records of Phu Yen students in various fields from more than 50 universities, colleges and academies nationwide. The organizers honored 215 students; in which 110 students received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee, 55 students received certificates of merit from the Provincial Youth Union and 50 students received certificates of merit from the Provincial Student Association. 

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr Dao My confirmed that: Our country is entering a period of extensive and comprehensive international integration. Therefore, developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources, has become one of the strategic tasks that are both urgent and long-term in the process of construction and development of the province. Students are an important force in the future, contributing to the development of our country in general and Phu Yen in particular.

“The Provincial People's Committee hopes that the students will continue to make efforts, study well to gain scientific knowledge, accumulate valuable lessons about the value of life, the spirit of solidarity, the will to overcome difficulties, about the necessary soft skills for work and life; thereby preparing themselves a very good baggage in both mind and heart to meet the requirements of society, especially in the current period of the fourth industrial revolution. Besides, you need to preserve and promote the good cultural identity, the soul of the Vietnamese people; continuing the fire from his father's generation, worthy of being the future owners of the homeland and the country", emphasized Mr Dao My.
