National programme pushes for innovation among enterprises

Vietnam has successfully produced a vaccine against African swine fever (ASF), said Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien on June 1.

With the theme “Joining hands to protect children, speaking up to prevent child abuse and violence”, the Action month for Children 2022 will take place from June 1st to 30th to affirm: the State, People, parents, teachers always give children the best affection, care and development. Children must live in a safe and healthy environment.

A host of activities are scheduled during the Vietnam Sea and Island Week, starting on June 1, to raise awareness and sense of responsibility among sectors, enterprises and people of the effective management, exploitation and use of natural resources and protection of marine environment.

A Month of Action for Children was launched at a ceremony in Hanoi on May 31 in the present of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

At the People's Committee of Ward 6 (Tuy Hoa city), former State President Truong Tan Sang and Vietnam Red Cross Association have just visited and presented the national flags, multi-function life jackets, and first aid bags to fishermen in need.

The new senior high school curriculum still ensures the role of history education, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do said, referring to the ministry’s decision to make history an optional subject in the national senior high school curriculum that will take effect from the next academic year.

Over the past 8 years, “For the beloved Hoang Sa- Truong Sa” Club of Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, chaired by former Vice President Truong My Hoa, has awarded hundreds of scholarships to students in sea and islands of Phu Yen in particular and the whole country in general. With the heart as the starting point, the club has taken numerous practical activities towards the sea and islands, accompanying the staff, soldiers and fishermen to preserve the country's sacred sovereignty over sea and islands.

The foundational level trade union congress has been occurring in all of the province’s localities and units. All trade unions have been accelerating the progress of completing the congresses, creating the intensive-extensive activity sessions with significant meanings in the activities of children and juvenile movements in the subsequent periods.

During the Workers’ month of 2022, the units, enterprises coordinate to donate 6 Trade Union cozy homes and more than 350 gifts with the total values of hundreds of million dongs, timely console, encourage members, workers to gain more physical and mental strength in life. These actions also show the spirit of solidarity, close relationship, sharing difficulties and success among the trade unions, units, enterprises with the workers.

Nguyen Van Tuyen, a 38-year-old man from Phu Yen, has successfully designed and produced environmentally-friendly plates made from the leaves of sea grape, a tropical tree.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has signed a decision to issue a strategy for scientific-technological development and innovation until 2030.
