In a proud atmosphere, leaders of the Party and State; leaders of central and local ministries, branches, and delegates attending the ceremony respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate and expressed gratitudeto the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the battle to protect the ships and the wharf when the 4th ship, Ship 143, was discovered by the enemy.
After the incense and flower offering ceremony at the martyrs' temple, the delegates performed the wreath-dropping ceremony at the site of the sunken Ship 143. The wreath bears the inscription: Forever grateful to the heroic martyrs!

From November 1964 to February 1965, Vũng Rô Wharf received 4 No-number ships, providing nearly 200 tons of weapons to the provinces of Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, and Dak Lak. Thanks to that, the fighting strength of our Army and People was raised, establishing numerous resounding victories, contributing to the complete bankruptcy of the "Special war" strategy of the US - Puppet on the battlefield of Zone 5, such as the victory at Thi Thung Tunnel in 1966; General Offensive and Uprising of Mau Than Spring in 1968; the historic victory of Route 5, together with the main force troops liberated Phu Yen province on April 1, 1975, contributing to the complete liberation of the South and the unification of the country with the Army and People of the whole country.
Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Pham Dai Duong emphasized: We will forever be proud of Vũng Rô Wharf, which is closely connected to the "Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea" - a strategic route at sea named after the great President Ho Chi Minh. 60 years have passed, the event of the No-number ships bringing hundreds of tons of goods and weapons from the rear of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Vũng Rô Wharf is still mentioned as a miracle of intelligence, creativity, a glorious page of history.
When mentioning the victory of Vũng Rô Wharf, we will forever cherish and remember the great contributions of the officers and sailors of the No-number ships. Each ship is a steadfast collective, no difficulty can stop it, no situation cannot be resolved.
We also forever cherish and remember the great contributions of thousands of cadres, soldiers, youth volunteers, laborers, guerrillas and local people of the province who were not afraid of sacrifice and hardship, participated in the fight, protected and transported weapons and goods at the wharf.
That is the victory of the protection and care of the local Party Committee, government and People; it is the affection and trust of compatriots and comrades on the hot battlefield who are waiting every day, every hour for the transport ships to provide weapons and goods to fight the enemy, liberate the homeland and the country.

Promoting the heroic spirit of Vũng Rô - the No-number ships to build a prosperous Phu Yen
Addressing at the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Committee expressed gratitude for the sacrifices of previous generations. The legend of the No-number ships, the Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea, and Vũng Rô Wharf are vivid manifestations of patriotism, will, revolutionary determination, bravery, intelligence, and creativity of the Vietnamese people in the confrontation with the invading US imperialists; it is also an affirmation of the people's war path under the leadership of the Party.
