Along the banks of Ban Thach river, students no longer have to endure the sun, dust or muddy rain to go to school, but can walk on a smooth, clean concrete road. The road is one of the accompanying items of the embankment project to prevent erosion on the left bank of the Ban Thach river, the section from Phu Da to Ban Thach bridge, Dong Hoa town, which has just been invested and put into use. People now have the convenience in traveling, transporting goods as well as being peace of mind during the rainy season.
Or in the area of Cung Son township, Son Hoa district, since the embankment of preventing erosion on Ba river (with a total investment of VND 245 billion) was put into use, the lives of people living along the river have changed significantly. The riverbank, which used to be prone to landslides, has been given a solid embankment with two overlapping embankments, over 40m high. In addition to items such as a bridge over the stream, steps up and down, embankment locks, etc., a wide concrete road has been constructed along the embankment, becoming one of the main roads of the locality.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoi in Cung Son township (Son Hoa district) happily said: The embankment has been completed, and the people here are extremely excited. Not only is it spacious, clean, and helps connect with traffic routes in the region, but from now on, the people here do not have to worry about rain or floods. Every early morning, people have space to walk, exercise along the embankment, and chat together.
Infrastructure investment is one of the decisive factors contributing to creating momentum for local socio-economic development. Therefore, basic construction investment work has been focused on and directed by all levels and sectors; not only public investment projects but also non-budget projects.
A typical example is the housing project at lot number 2, east of Hung Vuong Street, Tuy Hoa city (HTL Seaside) has just been completed. The project includes a complex of shophouses and a commercial center with 120 townhouses, each with a height of 9 floors and 1 rooftop, contributing to the development of Tuy Hoa urban infrastructure.
According to Mr. Tran Xuan Tuc, Director of the Department of Construction, infrastructure projects attracting investment have made an important contribution to the development of modern space for the locality. The townhouses and commercial townhouses close together make the urban face civilized, modern and create a good impression on people and tourists. In addition to HTL Seaside, there are 23 housing projects being implemented in the province, expected to be a bright spot in attracting investment, suitable for socio-economic development conditions.
Meanwhile, public investment projects are also being urgently implemented. In particular, to celebrate the National Day on September 2nd, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board is urgently completing the works of the Provincial Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital and Luong Van Chanh High School for Gifted. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chanh, Deputy Director of the board, said: These are important projects on education and health of the province, with high expectations from the people. Taking advantage of the favorable weather conditions as present, the investor has directed the construction team to focus on implementing the final items, ready to put into operation as planned. The investor also coordinated with the contractor to ensure the aesthetics of the project, creating a highlight in the urban infrastructure chain.
