Foreign investment in Vietnam surges in five months

Foreign investment in Vietnam reached nearly 18.4 billion USD in the first five months of 2025, a 51% increase year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Finance’s Foreign Investment Agency (FIA).

The Department of Customs reported that state budget revenues from import-export activities in the first five months of 2025 reached 182.51 trillion VND (6.99 billion USD), equivalent to 44.4% of the assigned estimate and increasing 9.2% year-on-year.
