Cultivating gratitude and affection in children

The Provincial Party Committee recently held a meeting with Uncle Ho's Obedient Children in Phu Yen province in 2025.

Addressing the meeting, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Cao Thi Hoa An congratulated and praised the outstanding achievements of "Uncle Ho's Obedient Children"' delegates. Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An praised them for being really vibrant and radiant blossoms in the garden of excellence to well practice "5 things Uncle Ho taught children".

Emphasizing that March 14 was the day 37 years ago, 64 soldiers of the Vietnam People's Navy were permanently lying in the middle of the deep sea to defend the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland in the East Sea, Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An urged the younger generation to always cultivate a deep sense of gratitude and cherish the value of peace, independence, and freedom that his father's generations had traded in blood and bones.

The children are encouraged to remain diligent, excel in their studies, and uphold Uncle Ho’s teachings. "Small working age is small, depending on their strength," strive for many good flowers, and achieve the title of Uncle Ho's Obedient Children, confidently step up to the Youth Union so that tomorrow, together with union members throughout the country, they deserve to be the trusted rear team of the Party.

In the coming time, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Cao Thi Hoa An, asked all levels of Party committees, authorities, departments, branches, and unions at all levels, especially the Provincial Youth Union's Standing Committee and Provincial Team Council, to continue to pay attention to and better perform the traditional orientation and education work, nurture affection for students, create the most favorable environment and conditions for them to study, play, train, and participate in social activities, inspire and accompany them in realizing their dreams and ambitions, and cultivate deeper faith in the Party.

At the meeting, the provincial-level delegates honored Uncle Ho's Obedient Children and expressed their deep gratitude and pride when attending the meeting. Simultaneously, they also proposed some solutions for the party committees, authorities, unions, and the whole society to enhance efforts in protecting, nurturing, and educating children more effectively in the coming time.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of departments and agencies, delegates of Uncle Ho's Obedient Children, and staff in charge of the team solemnly offered incense at Uncle Ho's altar. The Provincial Party Committee presented a portrait of Uncle Ho wearing a red scarf to the children and bestowed gifts to the delegates of Uncle Ho's Obedient Children.

In appreciation of the care and support from provincial leaders, the delegates of Uncle Ho’s Exemplary Children presented fresh flowers as a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and respect.
