According to the report at the conference, immediately following the Lunar New Year holiday, the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, and PPC directed departments, agencies, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to urgently implement tasks. The province has completed the organization of PPC specialized agencies in the spirit of Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017, issued by the 12th Central Committee on continuing to reform and streamline the political system for greater effectiveness and efficiency.
The provincial socio-eco situation in February remained stable and prosperous. Some industries and fields increased over the same period, such as the index of industrial production (IIP), which increased by 10.3%, export value, which increased by 42.2%, and total tourist arrivals, which increased by 28.4%. Social protection is guaranteed.
Since 2021, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, in collaboration with businesses, organizations, and individuals, has provided support for the construction of over 2,000 houses for poor households, near-poor households, policy beneficiaries, and individuals with meritorious services through the Fund for the Poor at all levels, with a total amount exceeding 82 billion VND.
In addition to the achieved outcomes, the province still has some shortcomings and limitations, such as the real estate market not yet being vibrant, inefficient business conditions still taking place, and land clearance and resettlement in some works and projects still being slow...
At the conference, delegates delivered numerous presentations on the development and adjustment of land use planning and strategies, investment attraction, and support mechanisms for major investors seeking to establish projects in the South Phú Yên Economic Zone (EZ), aiming to expedite the completion of project implementation procedures.
Furthermore, the conference dedicated significant time to discussing and proposing solutions to address challenges in implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing across the province. The conference approved three draft proposals to be submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration.
Concluding the conference, PPC Chairman Ta Anh Tuan highly appreciated the efforts of all levels and sectors in the implementation of the tasks in the past time. From now until the end of the year, the entire political system faces significant responsibilities; continue to arrange and streamline the apparatus according to Conclusion 127 of the Central Government when merging the province and leaving the district level. Simultaneously, the province must focus on achieving the economic growth target of 8% GRDP.
Departments, branches, and localities urgently stabilize the organization after organizing the apparatus. Focusing on completely removing bottlenecks to unclog resources serves to promote production and business, create motivation for growth, and drastically carry out site clearance.
Comrade Ta Anh Tuan also asked all levels and branches to continue promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, and well-implementing Scheme 06 to ensure the set plan and progress to meet the requirements and create the habit of solving administrative procedures on the electronic environment of people and businesses. Localities focus on implementing the program to remove temporary houses and dilapidated houses in accordance with the approved plan.
