According to the report on the preparations for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Phu Yen, the PPC has assigned relevant agencies and units to implement 9 main activities to commemorate this milestone (April 1, 1975-April 1, 2025), as well as the anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975-April 30, 2025).

Up to now, agencies, units, and localities have effectively carried out their assigned tasks, ensuring progress as planned. Specifically, the Propaganda Subcommittee and relevant units have conducted a variety of propaganda activities on the mass media. Furthermore, the PPC has issued a plan to launch an intensive emulation campaign in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Phu Yen and the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.

Furthermore, the PPC assigned the Department of Home Affairs to take the lead in coordinating with relevant agencies and localities to develop plans for wreath-laying ceremonies and visits to the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery. The PPC also directed agencies, units, and localities to collaborate in organizing honor and gratitude activities.

On the basis of the registration of branches and localities, the Department of Finance has issued official documents proposing to the PPC a list of projects and initiatives to be launched, announced, and inaugurated. The PPC has also issued a comprehensive plan for organizing the 50th anniversary celebrations of Phu Yen’s liberation, including a gathering of officials who participated in the resistance movement before April 1, 1975. Furthermore, preparations for exhibitions, cultural events, artistic performances, and sports activities are being actively carried out...

At the conference, delegates reported on the work being done and watched and commented on the Phu Yen reportage film after 50 years of liberation conducted by Phu Yen Radio-Television Station.

In concluding the conference, comrade Cao Thi Hoa An, Head of the Steering Committee to organize activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Phu Yen, asked relevant agencies, units, members of the Steering Committee, and the Organizing Committee to organize commemorative activities according to their functions and tasks to closely follow the plan, urgently review, implement, and advise on the assigned contents, and ensure the progress and quality of the contents as required.

Agencies and units need to raise the awareness and responsibility of cadres and party members, especially the head of the implementation of work related to commemorative activities; promote propaganda and information on activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Phu Yen liberation on the mass media in order to arouse patriotism, instill pride in the revolutionary traditions, and express profound gratitude to previous generations.

The preparation for the celebration must be carried out meticulously and in accordance with the established timeline, ensuring dignified and meaningful content. The event should serve as a true festival, fostering a spirit of enthusiasm and pride among the Party Committee, government, and people across the province.
