On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An, Secretary of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, led a delegation from the Provincial Party Committee - People’s Council - People’s Committee - Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to visit and extend congratulations to local press agencies and representatives of central press agencies operating in the province.

The delegation led by the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited the following agencies: the Phu Yen Journalists' Association - Phu Yen Newspaper, Radio and television Phu Yen, the Vietnam News Agency’s office in Phu Yen, the Resident Office of Nhân Dân Newspaper, and the local offices of VTV8 and VTV5 in Phu Yen.
During the visits, Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An extended warm regards and best wishes to journalists - the dedicated soldiers on the ideological and cultural front. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the positive contributions of both local and central media agencies to the overall development of the province in recent times. Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An emphasized: With a strong sense of responsibility, press agencies, journalists, and reporters operating in the province have actively accompanied and conveyed the determination and progress of the Provincial Party Committee, government, and People of Phu Yen. They have vividly and truthfully reflected the political, economic, and social life of the province; actively promoted and introduced Phu Yen’s image, potential, strengths, and new policies; and promptly discovered and featured exemplary individuals and outstanding role models...
In the context of the country’s active preparations for the reorganization of provincial-level administrative unit, including Phu Yen, the role of the press is more important than ever. The press is not only responsible for providing timely and accurate information but also carries the mission of accompanying the process, guiding public opinion, strengthening trust, and fostering consensus among the People. I hope that media agencies in the province will continue to uphold their political integrity, professional ethics, faith, determination, and spirit of innovation and creativity to successfully fulfill their noble mission”, emphasized the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
Addressing the staff, reporters, and editors of Phu Yen Newspaper and Phu Yen Radio and Television Station, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the two agencies are set to be merged based on an approved plan, followed by a subsequent merger with Dak Lak Newspaper. Therefore, there is a lot of work to do in coming period. In the new context, the position of a new Dak Lak province with new heights, potential, and vast potential, the employees of the province need to maintain their faith, bravery, will, overcome difficulties, unite to fulfill their mission, effectively propagate the Party's policies and laws of the State, come to life, create consensus, the strength of the great unity of the whole people, build a new homeland, contribute to the wealth and strength of the country.
Leaders of the press agencies expressed their emotion and thanked the deep attention of the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Party Standing Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province; at the same time, they affirmed that they would continue to promote the tradition of 100 years of revolutionary journalism, constantly improve the quality of content and forms, keep pace with the trend of modern journalism, best serve the sustainable development of the province and the interests of the People.
Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper, Nguyen Khanh Minh, affirmed: “In the current context, where numerous challenges and difficulties are anticipated, with the spirit of revolutionary journalism, the staff and officials of Phu Yen Newspaper will continue to make tireless efforts, remain united, innovative, and resilient in overcoming obstacles, and fulfill the noble mission entrusted by the Party and the People”.
