On June 12^th , in Tuy Hoa city, the Provincial People's Committee solemnly organized the 80^th Anniversary of Phu Yen Armed Forces' Traditional Day (June 12^th , 1945 - June 12^th , 2025) and received the First-class Fatherland Protection Medal.

On behalf of the President, Mrs. Cao Thi Hoa An, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, awarding the First Class Fatherland Protection Medal to officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces

At the ceremony, PPC Vice Chairman, Mr. Dao My, delivered a speech reviewing the 80-year tradition of building, fighting and growing up of Phu Yen Armed Forces under the glorious flag of the Party; expressing his respect and infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - Hero of national liberation, World cultural celebrity, genius leader, great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, beloved Father of the People's Armed Forces;at the same time, commemorating the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for socialism; remembering the great contributions of the heroic Vietnamese Mothers, the People's Armed Forces Heroes, generations of leaders, commanders, cadres, and soldiers of the provincial armed forces through the periods, together with compatriots from all over the country and the children of the twinned province of Hai Duong, who have shared hardship, joined hands, and joined hearts to create the glorious feats of arms, writing the heroic and glorious history of Phu Yen Armed Forces.

“The feats and maturity of the provincial armed forces are not only a true and vivid reflection of the heroic tradition and noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, but also an invaluable spiritual asset, an endogenous strength for the provincial armed forces to continue to establish many achievements and feats in the new era. The Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the ProvincialFatherland Front Committee acknowledge, highly appreciate, and commend the great feats and achievements of the provincial armed forces throughout the past period,” the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.

Praising and congratulating the achievements that the Phu Yen Armed Forces have gained in the glorious history of the past 80 years, Major General Cao Phi Hung, Deputy Commander of Military Region 5, requested the Provincial Party Committee and the ProvincialMilitary Command to continue to do a good job of advising the Party Committee, Military Region 5 Command, and the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee to successfully implement the targets of local defense and military tasks.

In particular, focusing on building the potentials in the provincial defense area to be increasingly solid, in-depth, and capable of rapid and effective mobilization. Officers and soldiers continue to promote the tradition and qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, worthy of being the core force in building the national defense of the whole people, the loyal and trustworthy political force of the Party Committee, government, and people of the province.

On this occasion, the provincial armed forces were honored to receive the First Class Fatherland Protection Medal from the President.
