The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has just held a Conference of the Provincial Party Committee to consider and comment on the Scheme on the establishment of the Party Committee of Dak Lak province on the basis of merging the Party Committee of Dak Lak province and the Party Committee of Phu Yen province.

According to the scheme, the entire Party Committee of Dak Lak province has 108 party committees under the Provincial Party Committee with 136,749 party members. Establishment of 5 advisory and assisting agencies and 2 non-business units of the Provincial Party Committee, including: Organizing Committee, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Internal Affairs Committee, Provincial Party Inspection Committee, Provincial Party Office, Provincial Political School and Dak Lak Newspaper. The Party Committee of Dak Lak province after consolidation began to operate before August 15, 2025.

At the conference, leaders of districts, towns, cities and departments and branches reported on the organization and facilities of (new) communes and wards and the preparation for the commune-level Party Congress for the term 2025-2030. Delegates answered and removed difficulties and obstacles to ensure the conditions for new communes and wards to come into operation officially from July 1.

Addressing the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Cao Thi Hoa An said that in order to ensure the direct and comprehensive leadership of the Party in the political system and socio-eco development in the locality after the corresponding arrangement with the local state administrative system at 2 levels (provincial and commune levels), the establishment of the Party Committee of Dak Lak province on the basis of merging the Party Committee of Dak Lak province and the Party Committee of Phu Yen province is necessary.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Cao Thi Hoa An emphasized: The establishment of the new Party Committee of Dak Lak province was carried out synchronously with the arrangement of the organizational apparatus and administrative units of the 2 provinces; ensuring compliance with the Party Charter and the regulations and guidelines of the Central Committee; in the spirit of upholding the Party's organizational principles and strictly implementing the principle of the unified Party leading the renovation, arrangement and management of the organizational apparatus and payroll of the political system. The establishment of the Party Committee of the new Dak Lak province also ensures not to vacate time, not to interrupt work, not to affect the normal activities of society and people; not to neglect to be caught off guard, maintain the national security, political security and social order and safety; not to affect the socio-eco development goals in 2025 and the following years.
