Chairman of Phu Yen People’s Committee welcomes the Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh city

Mr Ta Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Phu Yen PPC Chairman, has recently held a courtesy meeting with Dr. Vipra Pandey, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh city, on the occasion of his visit to Phu Yen to attend the Indian Film Festival.

Chairman Ta Anh Tuan expressed his pleasure welcoming Dr. Vipra Pandey on his first official visit to Phu Yen as the Consul General in Ho Chi Minh city. He introduced to Dr. Vipra Pandey the key features, potentials, strength and socio-economic development of the province in the past time and future strategic orientations.

PPC Chairman also acknowledged the Consul General’s significant role in facilitating Phu Yen delegation’s visit to India in 2023. The trip enabled the province to connect with major Indian corporations in sectors such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, seaports, and tourism…

Mr. Tuan expressed his hope that the Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh city would continue to be a strategic bridge, connecting Indian businesses and investors with investment opportunities in Phu Yen.

Beyond economic ties, both sides discussed expanding collaboration in areas including tourism, culture, education, and national defense, aiming to enhance the effectiveness and substance of bilateral cooperation between Phu Yen and India.

Dr. Vipra Pandey thanked the provincial leadership for the warm reception and praised Phu Yen’s development potential and strategic direction. He also expressed hope that more Indian enterprises and investors would participate in upcoming trade and investment promotion programs in the province.
