Hon Yen Scenic landscape complex in Nhon Hoi village, An Hoa Hai commune (Tuy An district) is 15km North of Tuy Hoa city. In April 2018, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognized this place as a national scenic spot.

This scenic spot includes: Hon Yen, Hon Dun, Ban Than, Ganh Yen, Hon Choi, Vung Choi creating a natural masterpiece by the sea. The fact that Hon Yen is only a few hundred meters from the shore is undoubtedly its best feature. Due to their close positions, Hon Yen and Hon Dun offer visitors a lyrical and romantic seascape.

Hon Yen cliff's several fascinating layers combine to form a wonderful natural scene in the middle of the sea and the sky. Hon Yen is a geological wonder, a 70-meter-high pillar-basalt island with hundreds of hexagon-shaped black, reddish-brown stone columns that run through vertical and oblique circuits formed by volcanoes millions of years ago. Geologists believe that a phase of geological tectonic activity comparable to that which formed the Da Dia ridge created Hon Yen.

Arriving during the first few days of the month or towards the end of the summer month, when the tide recedes, visitors can walk on the open rocky beach, which opens up a 20m long road connecting Hon Yen and Hon Dun. Despite the fact that corals and aquatic species were being destroyed directly under their feet, people used to walk to experience. Communities have recently been founded to promote tourism and preserve the Hon Yen coral habitat and provide assistance to the residents of Yen village.

Under the azure blue sea water, Hon Yen corals, which come in a variety of forms and colors, appear from a distance to be dancing to the vibrant music of the sea. Small fish start to appear somewhere, swimming leisurely beneath the coral reefs. If you are nice observer, you can also see sea cucumbers, sea urchins and starfish clinging to stunning coral reefs. This is considered one of the rare coral reefs in Vietnam.

According to local people, in the past, where bird nests frequently went home, the name Hon Yen originated from this. Furthermore, Hon Yen has the appearance of a huge sea sail, representing the profession of reaching out to the sea and preserving the peaceful fishing village. From another angle, Hon Yen appears to be a spear with its tip pointing upward as a distinctive characteristic of rock, water, the ocean, and the harmony of creation.

To experience community tourism, travelers can now travel to Hon Yen and partake in activities like visiting the Hon Yen population by punt, discovering the coral area, lobster farming area, Ganh Yen, Hon Dun, and Lo Chao; viewing  Hon Yen population from above with a walking tour along the hill roads; visiting making swallow's nest crafts, fishing net weaving crafts with fishermen; and most importantly, enjoying the natural scenery and sea-flavored dishes of the local people.
