That is the theme of the program “Marching to the source” to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Vung Ro Wharf receiving the first shipment of the No-number ships (November 28, 1964 - November 28, 2024) which took place emotionally at the Vung Ro National Historical Site (Hoa Xuan Nam commune, Dong Hoa town) organized by the Provincial Youth Union.

A land with mountains, rivers, fields, sea, and a land of numerous ethnic groups: Kinh, Hoa, Cham, Ede, Ba Na…, in addition to the wild and charming landscape, meeting the check-in needs of young people and tourists, Phu Yen also has a depth of history and culture like the hidden part of an iceberg. If filmmakers keep exploiting that heritage well, they will certainly reap numerous sweet fruits.

Xi Thoai Village, predominantly inhabited by the Ba Na ethnic group, with over 95% of its population, is renowned for its brocade weaving - a traditional art form integral to the cultural identity of the community. Over the centuries, this craft village has experienced rise and fall, at times facing dying trade.

During the discussions on the past and future of Tuy Hoa city, the community always favors this city with a lot of love and expectations. But sometimes it becomes the concern for future vision of the city.

Xi Thoai village (Xuan Lanh commune, Dong Xuan district) is one of the villages in Phu Yen that preserves the indigenous culture. With the support of the tourism sector, non-governmental organizations and especially the attention of the local government, Xi Thoai was recognized as the first mountainous cultural village in the province in 2000; a community cultural tourism village in 2014; and a traditional brocade weaving village in early 2024.
